Andrew Laine, DSc 1989

Andrew Laine was named Chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. Dr. Laine joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering faculty in August of 1997. After receiving his DSc in 1989, Dr. Laine became a faculty member at the University of Florida. His research interests include mathematical analysis and quantification of medical images, signal and image processing, and computer-aided diagnosis.
